What is MyChart - Schedule and Pay?

MyChart - Schedule and Pay is a free, secure website you can log into from any device connected to the Internet. In MyChart - Schedule and Pay you can:

  • Request, schedule and view scheduled appointments
  • Pay and view your bills

I already signed up for the MySeattleChildrens portal. Is this different?

Yes. MySeattleChildrens includes medical information about your child and a way for you to message your provider. MyChart - Schedule and Pay is the portal where you can pay your bill and schedule appointments. To learn more about the two portals, visit: www.seattlechildrens.org/online.

I already have a MyChart account at another hospital, is that the same?

No. MyChart is an online tool used by many healthcare systems, but each requires its own registration and has separate MyChart systems.

Who can sign up?

  • Adults who pay the bill for a patient at Seattle Children's
  • Adults in our records who can bring a patient to appointments at Seattle Children's
  • Patients 13 and older who have been to Seattle Children's for treatment

What will I be able to access?

  • Adults in our records who can bring a patient to appointments: Scheduling section
  • Adults who pay the bill and who can bring patients to appointments: Billing and scheduling
  • Patients 13-17: Scheduling
  • Patients 18+: Billing and scheduling. (If a patient 18+ wants their parents to access billing, scheduling or both, they can request this access using the online form.)

How do I sign up?

Fill out this online form. Within 7 business days, you will receive an email with a MyChart activation code. You can use this code to log in and create your own username and password.

Is there a mobile application?

No. At this time, Seattle Children's does not have a mobile application for MyChart - Schedule and Pay.

Who do I contact?

  • Password help, request new activation code, account or technical help: Call 206-987-4444, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Billing questions: Call 206-987-5770, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Or, visit www.seattlechildrens.org/paymybill.
  • Scheduling questions: Call your clinic or call 206-987-2000 and ask for the clinic you need to reach.

If I send a message to billing or scheduling, when can I expect a reply?

You will receive an answer within 2 business days. MyChart should not be used for urgent situations.

If you have medical questions, contact your provider. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Can I message my Seattle Children's provider through MyChart - Schedule and Pay?

No. You can only message billing and scheduling. If you have a MySeattleChildrens patient portal account, you can log in and send them a message there or call your clinic.

Can I share an account with another person in my household?

No. Each adult must have their own account.

If you already have a MyChart - Schedule and Pay account: The other person you want to have access to your child's billing/scheduling information can create their own account by filling out this form.

If you do not have a MyChart - Schedule and Pay account: Fill out this form, and fill out the section about granting someone else permission.

Note: Only the person designated in our records as the person who pays the bills will be able to access billing information in MyChart. We can only have one designated person per patient (called a guarantor). Anyone who is in our records to bring patients to appointments will be able to access scheduling.

I have more than one child who is a patient at Seattle Children's, can I pay bills and schedule for all of my children?

Yes. You just need to let us know to add your other children to your account. Fill out this form and under Patient Information add your other children.

I have more than one billing account for my child (medical, dental and mental health). Can I link them all into one MyChart account?

Yes, if the designated person who pays the bills (called a guarantor) on each billing account is the same. Call 206-987-5770 for help.

I was logged out, what happened?

We want to protect your privacy and security of your information. If your keyboard remains idle for 15 minutes or more, you will be automatically logged out. We recommend that you log out if you need to leave your computer for even a short amount of time.

My activation code does not work, what should I do?

For your security, your activation code expires after 30 days. Call 206-987-4444, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to get another code.

Is MyChart - Schedule and Pay secure?

Yes. Access to MyChart - Schedule and Pay and the information in it is controlled by security measures. As a member, you control all of your own account information, including your personal username and password. Learn about our privacy policy.
